I was a doubter... but you know what, thick chocolate oats is actually so amazing! With or without sweetener! And my best advice when making oats is... make it on the stove. I know not everyone has the time for this but it really is so much better 😍 And i topped mine with caramellized banana, peanut butter and oatmilk.

Gluten free red bean paste sticky rice cake. Only 4 ingredients, but incredible delicious. This is a traditional Chinese snack I used to eat a lot when I was a kid. Love the teeth sticky texture and sweet flavor of the red bean paste.
So take this recipe if you wanna try one of my favorite Chinese snack 👉🏻
- 280 g glutinous rice flour
- 1 cup of water
- 1 cup of sesame seeds .
For the red bean paste
- 200g red beans - 4 cups of water
- 1/2 cup of 红糖(brown sugar)
- 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

Direction
1. Soak the red bean overnight. Put them in a pot, add sugar and water, turn on the heat and bring it to boil. Then turn the heat to low heat And cook for about 1 and half hour. (If you have a cooker, cook for 40 mins)
2. Blend the cooked the red beans until smooth.
3. Then transfer the to a pot, add oil. Turn on a low heat and stir it constantly until no water left, the red bean paste can sticky together. .
For the cake
1. Mix the rice flower with water. Divide them equally into 10 pieces. Shape to a ball.
2. Flat the ball and place 1 tbsp red bean paste into the center.
3. Gently pinch the edge of the dough together to seal the red bean paste. And use your palm to press the ball to flat it.
4. To coat the cake with sesame seeds, spread the sesame seeds onto a plate, place the cake on the sesame seeds and gently press it.
5. Heat a pan with a little vegetable oil under low heat. Fry the cake until the two sides bottom turns golden brown.
And enjoy 😋

Recovery is so hard. After eating this ice cream yesterday my Ed voice told me 'You didn't even really enjoy it. You didn't truly like it. Why risking getting fat for something you do not even like? Why keeping it down? It truly wasn't worth the calories. You now how many were in there? You'll definitely gain from that. You better get rid of it.'.Some days ago my body image was pretty good and I felt relatively good about myself but now... Not really. I tend to give in to the voice to easily. Especially on these' low' days. I want to try challenging fear foods so that they will get less and less challenging,as I've seen that by many people on here who are recovering. But I feel like it's even harder to deal with foods I don't like or not love. I grew up being told to eat everything on my plate to not waste any food. But then my ED voice tells me the things mentioned above and I no longer no what to respond. I know that if you don't like sth, you don't have to eat it. But if sth tastes okay but not wow, you should eat it to not waste anything (this is another voice in my head). It's soo hard because I love trying out new things but...argh. It's so hard. 😢

I love ice cream and I make more stops to the local ice cream shops than I’d like to admit 🙈 I think it’s a summer staple and perfect for all ages!

This amazing ice cream cone is from Eva’s Original Chimney in Toronto. They use dough similar to churros to make the cone and then fill them with your favorite spreads and toppings. I got peanut butter pretzel parfait! Need I say more!? 😍 They lined the cone with a peanut butter sauce then filled it with chocolate and vanilla soft serve. Definitely a decadent snack but soo good!

You know this girl is celebrating National Ice Cream Day! . I love ice cream and I make more stops to the local ice cream shops than I’d like to admit 🙈 I think it’s a summer staple and perfect for all ages! . This amazing ice cream cone is from Eva’s Original Chimney in Toronto. They use dough similar to churros to make the cone and then fill them with your favorite spreads and toppings. I got peanut butter pretzel parfait! Need I say more!? 😍 They lined the cone with a peanut butter sauce then filled it with chocolate and vanilla soft serve. Definitely a decadent snack but soo good! . Dark chocolate has been given a lot of good publicity in recent years, but a lot of the research is funded for by chocolate such companies and focuses on the COCOA EXTRACT found in dark chocolate, not the actual chocolate.

The thing is that, although cocoa does have some benefits, this cocoa is mixed with lots of fats and sugars so these “benefits” can be obtained through so many other superfoods too without the extra saturated fat and sugar.

In fact, Milk Chocolate has less fat and more calcium✅
⠀
I personally do not like dark chocolate ❌
..and so therefore, if I am going to eat that magical chocolate stuff 🍫 I damn well choose the one I actually ENJOY the most (white🙊chocolate)! What’s your fave chocolate bar?

Chocolate is generally eaten as a treat for most, so if we are eating it (as part of an overall healthy lifestyle!) I think it’s ABOUT TIME WE STOP FEELING GUILTY about choosing milk | white chocolate and just choose
WHAT WE ACTUALLY ENJOY THE MOST
(even if that’s dark chocolate too-sorry if I’ve offended dark chocolare lovers out there🍫😘!).
