Anyone in the midwest will definitely agree with me on this!! Tired of seeing rain in the forecast, however I'm VERY thankful we have had ZERO tornadoes...not ready for that since we currently do not have a storm shelter!
🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀My last full day in Ireland has been surreal. It’s incredibly difficult to put into words how much I’ll miss this beautiful country. Like every abroad adventure there are highs and there are lows. Prior to studying abroad there were many obstacles and tedious paperwork that truly made me question whether study abroad was worth it (especially because the alternative was graduating early). Now that it’s over I wouldn’t trade it for any other experience. From the friends I’ve made, the people I’ve met, and the situations I’ve had to adapt to I have learned from every moment. Yes there’s a lot of rain in Ireland but there’s also a lot of rainbows and the most vibrant greenery you’ll ever see. Yes the weather is often gloomy but somehow the people remain courteous and chipper (or maybe it’s just the lovely accent). Yes it can be scary to move to a different country without knowing anyone but it’s also an opportunity to make friends and do some serious introspection. As I transition to the next chapter of my life (full of adulting uncertainties) I will remain open minded and positive about whatever I may encounter ❤️ . . . pc @talisee1 #abroad#travel#study#thankful#UCD#ireland#dublin#homeawayfromhome#homesweethome#goodbye#tillnexttime#rainyday#bittersweet
