Mushroom & Sweet Potato Curry by @missmarzipancom 💛 Recipe⠀
Ingredients⠀
1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable broth⠀
1 large onion, finely chopped⠀
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped⠀
250 g carrots, diced⠀
250 g celery, diced⠀
250 g sweet potatoes, diced⠀
A punnet of mushrooms sliced (about 250g)⠀
25 g- 30 g curry powder spice blend (store bought or homemade)⠀
1/4 cup + 1 tbsp (75 ml) tomato paste⠀
1-2 cup (240-480 ml) unsweetened oat (or coconut) yogurt⠀
⠀
How to make:⠀
Heat broth in a large pan. Add onion and garlic cook in low heat for 3 mins to soften. Add curry power stir and mix with onion and garlic until it became a bit like a paste. Add all the veg and mushrooms stir and coat them with the curry paste. Add a little water if curry powder is sticking. Season with salt. Add 1/2 cup oat yogurt and mix until blended. Repeat until all yogurt is used. Add tomato paste and mix until blended. Adjust seasoning then simmer for 15 mins. Serve with rice or quinoa and a sprinkle of fresh herbs. Delish with fresh tomato salad and a dollop of oat fraiche. Enjoy!

Califia Unsweetened Almond Milk is my favourite almond milk! It’s smooth, creamy and I personally love that it’s sugar free. Not only because I try to avoid excess sugar, but also because you can use it in both sweet and savoury recipes! It’s available in Woolworths Victoria and independent supermarkets nationally. Enjoy ♥️ Blueberry & Lemon Slice
base
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup cashews
8 medjool dates
1 tsp vanilla extract
filling
first layer
1 1/2 cups cashews, soaked for a minimum of 2 hours
4 tbsp @califiafarms Unsweetened Almond Milk
2 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp melted coconut oil
1/4 cup rice malt syrup
second layer (*note: reserve 1/2 of the first layer in blender, and add the following)
3/4 cup blueberries
1 tbsp rice malt syrup
1 tbsp melted coconut oil
Line a 20x20 cake tin with baking paper. In a food processor, add the almonds and cashews. Process until a rough meal is achieved. Add the dates and vanilla and process again until a sticky mixture is achieved. Press evenly into the tin. Set aside.
To make the first filling layer drain and rinse the cashews well. Add the cashews to a high powered blender along with the Califia Unsweetened Almond Milk, lemon juice, melted coconut oil, and rice malt syrup. Blend until completely smooth. Pour only half of this mixture onto the base, place into the freezer to firm up while you make the blueberry layer.
To the first layer filling in the blender, add the blueberries, rice malt syrup and coconut oil. Blend until completely smooth. Pour this gently  onto the first layer. Tap the tin onto the bench top to help release air bubbles and even out the top. Place in the freezer until firm, around 2 hours. Slice when still firm but softened enough to slice through. Keep cool.

Happy Pancake Sunday 🥞
It's literally been months since I last made pancakes but I had some reaaaally delicious buckwheat pancakes in London two weeks ago that made me want to make pancakes again myself. And since my mom had buckwheat flour sitting in her pantry I made buckwheat ones for the firsr time. Topped with banana, fresh strawberries, crushed walnuts and (lots of) maple syrup. So delicious, and so easy to make! Here's the recipe:
First bowl: 1 cup plant milk mixed with 1 tsp apple cider vinegar, let sit for 5 minutes.
Second bowl: 1 cup buckwheat flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda a dash of cinnamon.
Mix dry and wet ingredients together until you have a smooth batter, add more plant milk or water if needed. Add any sweetener you like.
Preheat your pan well then bake pancakes for ~2 minutes on each side.

Comer y utilizar animales está muy mal, ellos quieren vivir y necesitan amor igual que todos nosotros, es así de sencillo, todo lo que les estamos haciendo está muuy mal. De niñes nos enseñarón a amarlos y a la vez ellos están en nuestros platos, no hay diferencia entre un gato y una vaca, tú empatía lo tiene que ver.
No se puede cuidar el planeta si estás pagando porque continúen utilizando, criando y asesinando animales. Ellos son son seres más inocentes de la Tierra, eso no está bien, es muy doloroso, no son nuestros objetos, deberían ser dueños de sus vidas, deberían sentir el amor de una madre, de una familia, amor y compasión por nuestra parte. Todo esto es matar de a poco el planeta, así que cuando te alimentas de un animal has arrancado una vida (que no te pertenece) de un cuerpo, la cría a una mamá, un integrante de una familia más, quizá familia que nunca pudieron ser, porque son vidas en un mundo de terror, destinados a sufrir y morir (ellos saben que van a morir, así que estas alimentándote de alguien que sabe que está a punto de ser asesinado)
Si te quieres un poco, si queres a tu familia o más aún, si tienes hijos, no puedes apoyar tal matanza... Si no eres capaz de conectar con los animales que tienen brillo en los ojos como todos nosotros aún así el cambio climático está acá, no es un broma, los criaderos y mataderos son una de las mayores causas del cambio climático.

Traditional caesar salads can be misleading. Store bought dressings, in general are usually very high in saturated fat, trans fat and sodium-rich preservatives. Many contain artificial coloring and added sugar like high fructose corn syrup. These quickly make a healthy option turn very unhealthy.

The darker the green, the more nutrients it has. When eating salads, opt for leafy greens, lots of colorful vegetables and homemade dressings.

Umeboshi paste is a fermented plum paste used in Japanese cuisine, salty and tangy.

Use it to add tartness to dips, sauces, salad dressings, soups, marinades and cooked vegetables.

Also it’s an excellent hangover remedy because it’s loaded with antioxidants.

Cesar Dressing:
✅2-3 cloves of garlic
✅1TBS miso
✅2TBS lemon juice

⭐TARTUQUI CHOCOLATE Y FRESA🍫🍓 Esta receta está inspirada en la cheesecake vegana de @laveganitafit 💜
BASE:
60 gr harina de avena sabor snickerdoodle
250 ml de bebida vegetal de almendras s.a
1/4 tbsp canela
1 gotita extracto de vainilla
1 tbsp de crema de cacahuete
Mezclamos todo en una cacerola a fuego medio y removemos hasta que quede como una pasta.
CAPA MEDIA:
1 plátano grande en rodajas
CAPA MEDIA 2:
1 scoop proteína chocolate
1 cucharada de canela
4 gotas extracto vainilla
250 ml de bebida vegetal
2 gr agar-agar o goma xantana
1 cucharada de cacao desgrasado en polvo
1 chorrito de sirope de flor de coco
1 yogur de coco
Diluimos el agar agar o la goma xantana en la bebida vegetal y lo hervimos durante 2 minutos removiendo para que no se nos pegue al fondo. Después agregamos el resto de ingredientes, tamizando los que están en polvo para evitar grumos.
CAPA ARRIBA:
Mermelada de fresas

✨Baked sweet potatoes and beans with tomato salad✨😋🍠🍅🥑🌽 So delicious and simple to make👌🏽:

🍠 Wash the potatoes and use a fork to make a few holes in them. Roast in the oven for about 50 minutes on 425 F/200 C until completely soft. •
🍅Cherry tomatoes, fresh parsley, red onion, apple cider vinegar, balsamic vinegar, flaxseed oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. •

I met Annie a couple years ago thanks to @youngliving. She is one of many incredible leaders of mine. But, more than that, over the last couple years she has become a friend. She has become one of my beacons for health and wellness but also for advocacy. It’s kind of funny when you think about it because, as a nurse, I advocate for my patients all the time. But she reminds me often that we can’t forget about ourselves and those closest to us. You can’t pour from an empty cup. And, you have to care for yourself before you can effectively care for anyone else.

When Annie decided to have her daughter, Mila, at home I knew I needed to ask her allllll the things. Annie has been very open about her home birth experience and I was completely stoked when she agreed to let me interview her and share her process over the “radio waves.”

It’s amazing to think about who I’ve met over the last 2 1/2 years and how I’ve gotten to where I am now. I’m so grateful for this #YoungLivingCommunity and who God has brought into my life. I’ve learned SO much about LIFE from Annie and others like her... and it truly is #allbecauseofGary.

I have to get a plastic bag because I didn’t bring my bag with me. One day all the big dogs in the big companies will make a change and make it easier for us all

All I asked @tescofood was if their anti-bac bathroom spray is vegan. I didn’t go off on a long rant asking it, but Tesco certainly did send a massive rant in response. Guys, all you have to do is say yes or no. What’s more, the “Cruelty Free leaping bunny” logo IS widely recognised, and you know it is, because you rip it off on your own brand products! They didn’t even answer the question.
