Given there’s rumours of a new Pipe and tobacco campaign next year, it’s highly likely my friends will be dusting off the pipes and dragging me back into Peterson. And I’ll be back willingly. Purely from a strategist’s perspective, you understand – it’s honestly nothing to do with the fact I desperately need that shape of pipe . Consumers #purchased them like mad, believing that they would one day become valuable. Limited editions that were hard to find became valuable the instant they were released due to resellers snapping up the refreshed stock. However, most of this pipes were so widely owned that they never became valuable, instead becoming garage-sale or car -boot castoffs.
If there is such a thing as a golden rule for collectibles, it's buy what you love , and if you're lucky, some of that will be valuable, too.
The collectible pipes market is a tricky one, and a lot
