It's been a few weeks since I switched things up following a week of fatigue and anxiety issues. This week and last, my goal has been -

So far, so good. I've managed work, the end of the school year rush, and my sanity by switching things up. Taking the time to breathe every morning (and sometimes evenings) via yoga/meditation has really helped me to better balance my hectic life and my lofty fitness goals. The best part? 15x Kettle bell deadlifts, 15x plate squat press, 15x lateral squat jumps. We completed these exercises in teams and added a sprint to each station in between! 
You can do these exercises on your own or with you gym buddy, in the gym or at home! Try get at least 3 rounds completed with a well deserved 1 minute rest in between.

The next and potentially final phase of my girlfriends fat loss plan. We are keeping the volume low on her lifting days due to her limited capacity to recover due to her work schedule. We are also only working her legs and glutes due to her not caring much about upper body at this time as well her job places some extreme demands on her upper body. 
Her days also coincide with a carb cycling plan. It pairs up like this:
Day 1 - Legs (Heavy)/High Carb Day
Day 2 - HIIT Session 1/Balanced Day
Day 3 -  Fasted Cardio/High Fat Day
Day 4 - Legs (Pump)/High Carb Day
Day 5 - HIIT Session 2/Balanced Day
Day 6 - Fasted Cardio/High Fat Day
Day 7 - Fast Day 
The high carb days are placed on the leg days to aid with growth and recovery. The high fat days, fasted cardio, and fasting day are in there simply to get her better at mobilizing and using fat for fuel. The balanced days are meant to be the middle ground of the two days and be a balance of helping recovery and aiding fat loss, while boosting caloric expenditure via the HIIT sessions.
