Oh si! Hoy volvemos a los clásicos con este budín increíble que preparé hace un tiempo. Les vuelvo a subir la receta porque la hice de nuevo y me encantó 🙌🏼.
Hoy fue un domingo re lindo porque manejé, salí a tomar un café con mi familia y me dormí ALTA SIESTA (de la cual me acabo de despertar lol) 😂. Disfruten de esta hermosa receta:
(salen 4 porciones, molde de 15cm.)
van a necesitar:
1 manzana mediana, cortada en cubos
1/2 taza de leche de almendras o agua
4 cucharadas de harina de garbanzos (o de arroz, o de trigo sarraceno)
4 cucharadas de harina de trigo sarraceno (o cualquier harina aglutinante)
2 cucharadas de cacao amargo en polvo @drcacaochocolates
2 cucharadas de semillas de chía (sin activar)
1 cucharada de stevia líquida
1/2 cucharada de jugo de naranja o de limón (o cualquier otro medio ácido)
1/4 cita de polvo de hornear
pizca de sal
1. Precalentar horno a 200 grados
2. licuar manzana, leche de almendras, stevia y jugo de naranja. separar.
3. En un recipiente mediano, colocar los ingredientes sólidos y mezclar.
4. Verter la mezcla líquida sobre la sólida e integrar con movimientos envolventes.
5. Hornear por 40´o hasta pinchar con un palito y que éste salga completamente seco.
6. Disfrutar
TIP: este budín queda buenísimo si lo comen frío acompañado de una fruta o de mantequilla de maní @lefitmantequilla

Ruby Grapefruit & Olive Oil Donuts by @panaceas_pantry 💗 .
Ingredients
125g (1 cup) plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 tsp grapefruit zest
2/3 cup preferred vegan milk
1/3 cup raw sugar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tsp Apple cider vinegar
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180C/360F, and grease a donut pan (makes 8-12, depending on donut size). 2. Add all wet ingredients (from milk downwards) to a small bowl, and combine well. Set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, sift in flour and add dry ingredients. Mix well, then pour in wet ingredients. Combine until smooth, thenspoon mixture into greased donut holes. Bake for 10-12 mins. Allow to cool for 3-4 mins, before turning onto a wire rack to cool completely.
To make glaze, combine:
1 cup organic icing sugar, sifted
2 Tbsp ruby grapefruit juice
Raspberry juice (optional- for colour)
6-8 drops grapefruit essential oil (also optional, but adds extra flavour)
Dip each donut into the glaze*, then allow to set a little before adding extra zest or vegan sprinkles. *test 1 donut first- I’d glaze is too runny, add more icing sugar. It shouldn’t all run off onto the plate. #bestofvegan

How was your weekend?💁🏼‍♀️💞 I’ve been a busy bee this weekend 🤸🏼‍♀️An elementary/middle school reunion, visiting my old horse and 2x birthdays 🎈🎂 It was so much fun hanging out with some of the people I grew up with, but haven’t seen in +10 years 👻 People have ended up in so many deferent professions and it was so interesting to hear about👏🏻💫 This morning I visited my horse that I sold 12 years ago. She’s 25 y/o today and probably don’t have much time left, so I feel so privileged to have had the chance to see her before it was too late 🙏🏻♥️ Then I drove home to my cousin and her family in their collective farmhouse that they share with five families to celebrate my cousin’s 35th birthday and her daughter’s 2nd birthday 🎁 All of this was so much fun! If I could change one tiny thing it would be my massive allergies flaring up😪 It’s been a weekend of itching and sniffing, and now I’m having a huge headache from it🤕 Do you guys experience allergies now too? Do you have any advice for me?

'Magdalenas' saladas:
• 1 huevo.
• Leche/bebida vegetal (un chorrito).
• Champiñones.
• Puerro.
• Sal.
• Aceite para untar los moldes.
|
∆ Precalentar el horno a 180°.
Limpiar y trocear, al gusto, el puerro y los champiñones.
Batir el huevo y agregar el chorrito de leche, el puerro, los champiñones y una pizca de sal. Remover bien para que quede todo bien integrado.
Untar con un pincel los moldes con el aceite, para que sea mas sencillo desmoldar.
Meter en el horno alrededor de 10 minutos (dependiendo del horno) o hasta que al pinchar, salga el cuchillo/palillo limpio.
Sacar del horno y esperar unos minutos antes de desmoldar para no sufrir quemaduras.

@rawnchydesserts raspberry cacao cake. Delicious chocolate biscuit base with the raspberry topping. I’m not the biggest fan of raspberry flavoured things but but still enjoyed this cake. However, it is yet to beat their salted caramel one 🤤🤤

Lost a lot of water weight but my stomach is a lot tighter. I have 27 more days until my cruise. Gonna weigh more tomorrow morning due to not working out on Sunday’s. Finished a song yesterday as well. Can’t wait to start the grind week once again. Peace everyone.

Hoje concluir mais uma etapa em minha vida.
Fui em busca de um objetivo e estou levando comigo o gostinho do dever cumprido, afinal, foram 22 meses se dedicando a Pós-graduação em Nutrição Esportiva Funcional pelo Instituto Vera Pascoal (VP). .
Vencer uma nova etapa é um lindo sentimento. As dificuldades foram ultrapassadas (distância, filho, privações de FDS, trabalho...), com muita determinação e se agora sinto a alegria da vitória, é porque lutar não foi em vão. .
O fechamento de um ciclo é sempre uma oportunidade de renascimento interior.

Had a chance to work with @kinexhealth last week and we got to sharing some important health information and some recent research. We shared the below information during a seminar.

Did you know that all of the extra salt you are adding into your meals can actually be detrimental not only to your physical health, but also to your appearance as well? 💡
•
In society we tend to choose easy options, because we think we don’t have time to cook something up in a matter of 10 minutes, something that is quick and delicious at the same time. This has lead to overconsumption of processed and packaged foods, which are loaded with sodium. Think back to that pasta sauce you picked up, did you read the label? Did you had in extra salt while cooking, and then more when you served the meal as well? •
The average Australian adds approximately 9 tsp of salt to their meals, each day, when in fact we should only be adding in an extra 1 tsp. This is because so many of us buy foods that as packaged, and they already have enough salt in them. •
If you are like me, and try to eat minimal products that are packaged, then you may have to add in a little extra, but over the course of a day, to season your meals 1 tsp in enough. •
So what are the health affects of sodium when consumed in larger amounts like the above? Hypertension (high blood pressure), the most common affect. Over time increased blood pressure can lead to other metabolic disorders, and impact disease in the long term. Strokes, heart attacks, kidney stones and cancers can all come about from over consumption of sodium.

Not only does it affect our physical health, but also our appearance too. Overconsumption of salt can lead to puffiness, bloating, fluid retention and weight gain as well. So the next time you are adding salt to your meal, have a think about the way it may impact your health. •

Try this healthy recipe for food cart-style chicken salad with white sauce!
INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE CHICKEN:
24 ounces about 4 large boneless, skinless chicken thighs, fat trimmed
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 1/4 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon olive oil
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon oregano
3/4 teaspoon sweet paprika
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
WHITE YOGURT SAUCE (MAKES 1 1/4 CUPS):
1 cup whole milk yogurt
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
FOR THE SALAD:
6 cups chopped iceberg or romaine lettuce
2 medium tomatoes, quartered
1/2 small red onion, sliced
prepared mild harissa, optional for drizzling
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Season the chicken with lemon juice, garlic, cumin, oil, salt and spices. Set aside at least 15 minutes, or as long as overnight.
2. Combine the ingredients for the white yogurt sauce and refrigerate.
3. When ready to cook, heat a large nonstick griddle or skillet over medium high heat. When hot, add the chicken and leave until the bottom is completely browned, about 5 minutes before flipping.
4. Cook on the other side for another 4 to 5 minutes, until browned.
5. Reduce the heat to low and let the chicken continue cooking, about 10 minutes, until just about cooked through in the thickest parts (no worries if it’s not completely cooked). 6. Set aside on a cutting board and chop the chicken into thin strips and add back to the pan to brown and finish cooking, 8 to 10 minutes over medium heat.
7. Assemble the salad by dividing the lettuce, tomato and red onion.
8. Top with chicken and drizzle with yogurt sauce (this is your dressing) and harissa, if desired.

When I competed in my first powerlifting competition in 2013, I was petrified! I didn't know whether I wanted to vomit, pee myself, runaway ... or do all 3 😅 For the record, I did none of these things except lift all the heavy things ... and LOVED IT!

When I realised that I wanted to move into coaching, I didn't just want to be a standard, run-of-the-mill PT. I wanted to be able to provide my clients with a sense of empowerment. I wanted to provide them with the support, encouragement and confidence to be able to have an experience that wasn't daunting (whether that be competing, learning to lift weights or just step into a gym!) 👌

I literally hoped that I could help my team to have a dauntless performance! And so the name DAUNTLESS PERFORMANCE was born 😍
